Villa Balbiano is located in Ossuccio, a small town on the west side of Lake Como. The Villa is a historic residence of great charm, built at the end of the 16th century and it is the largest private residence on the lake.
This extraordinary property of Villa Balbiano boasts spectacular panoramic views to host elegant and romatic weddings, and it is decorated with magnificent original frescoes that entirely cover the walls and ceiling of the room, this living room features eighteenth-century furniture.
On the ground floor we find a fabulous hall surrounded by a dining room, a library, a winter garden and three salons. All these rooms boasts marble floors and original frescoes on the walls and ceilings. A marble staircase leads to the other lodgings, consisting of four luxurious bedrooms, all with en suite marble bathrooms and elegantly furnished with precious antiques.
The villa has 6 luxury suites furnished in perfect style where guests can stay and can accommodate up to 30 people, divided into the main building with 6 luxury suites, the left wing with 4 bedrooms and the adjacent cottage with 4 bedrooms, all surrounded by a centuries-old park with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Villa Balbiano is one of the most glamorous locations on Lake Como and in 2021 the Villa Balbiano was used for the filming of the film “House of Gucci”, directed by Ridley Scott.
