Villa Erba is one of the best known and most important villas on the Lake Como located in Cernobbio. The villa is an architectural jewel built in the early 1900s , today it keeps its ancient frescoes and precious inlaid ceilings intact.
The building of Villa Erba is developed on two floors and has a square plan, an imposing entrance porch and on the other side, facing the lake, there are the main reception rooms and a wide staircase that descends towards the dock.
In addition to the villa, there is a centuries-old park with a rich botanical collection made up of various species of rare, exotic and centuries-old plants. Moreover, there are two greenhouses available, transformed into event spaces. One of the most fascinating features of a wedding at Villa Erba is also the possibility for the couple and the guests to arrive by boat on the private pier of the location.
Villa Erba is also famous for hosting many luxury weddings and for being selected as a set for a big number of Hollywood movies as Ocean’s Twelve.
